Standing as a two-time WMA winner with millions of views, Evelynroze is a 21-year-old Singer/Songwriter, Actress, and Influencer based in New England. Embarking on her musical journey at just the age of four, with roots in classic rock and country, she passionately weaves together musical experiences that delve into the themes of healing, the intricacies of life's journey, and ending negative stigmas.

Evelyn discovered her passion for performing through musical theater. She began writing music in middle school after facing bullying from peers and teachers over her disability and dreams, turning her into a fierce and powerful advocate and fostering empowerment to many.

In late high school, Evelyn began recording demos such as Intellect Overdrive and months later was brought to the attention of producer Donnie Klang and later met guitarist Reid Plonsky, who helped bring her vision of songs like Careless Heart to life. After Evelyn & Reid played as a duo for a while, they finally formed her supporting band The Thornz, and a few months later they accepted the “Best Upcoming Artist” award at the 2023 WMAs. A year later Evelyn accepted the “Best Female Vocalist” category.

Evelyn’s rise to popularity can be attributed to her Music History videos & her Mental Health & Disability advocacy series on TikTok called “Feeling Alone?” where she has a 100K+ audience.

Meet My Supporting Band!

Formed in late 2022, The Thornz are the official supporting band for Evelynroze. The group was created by Evelyn & Reid after the two played as a duo for several years

Co-Founder/Guitarist/Backing Vocalist

Reid Plonsky, a 21-year-old musician from Long Island, draws inspiration from the worlds of Pop-Punk and Classic Metal. He picked up the guitar and started singing at 13, inspired by Green Day's Billy Joe Armstrong. Currently studying Music Production and technology at The Hartt School of Music, he met Evelynroze and together they began writing and performing, eventually forming a complete band. Reid is excited to see what the future holds and hopes to release his own music soon.

Drummer

Tyler Crowley (25) from Webster MA, went to Framingham State for Criminology & has been drumming for 14 years. His biggest inspirations are Halestorm, Shinedown, & Godsmack. In his off time, he works as a scare actor at the Factory of Terror in Fall River, Massachusetts.

Ella Thayer

Bassist/Backing Vocalist

Ella Grace Thayer is an 19 year old bassist, singer, and artist from Connecticut. Although she is newer to music, she got her start on the stage doing ballet for several years. She takes a lot of inspiration from Punk bands such as Bikini Kill and Le Tigre. Ella is currently a student at Hartford Art School.

Tris Houle

Guitarist / Drummer / Vocalist

Tris is a 19-year-old guitarist, drummer, and singer from Northern CT. Starting as a drummer, Tris grew to expand his musical abilities and has played in multiple bands. He joined The Thornz back in October of 2023 and currently studies Computer Science at the University of Hartford.

Keyboardist/Multi-Instrumentalist/Vocalist

Nicole Costa is a 20 year old multi-instrumentalist and vocalist from Connecticut. She grew up taking music lessons and teaching herself various instruments, and she now majors in Music Production and Technology at the Hartt School of Music. She takes inspiration from all kinds of musical genres but has a particular fondness for folk music such as that of Noah Kahan and Brandi Carlile. Outside of Evelynroze + the Thornz, Nicole has her own career as an independent singer-songwriter and has self-produced three EPs. As of right now, Nicole remains a part time member of the band.
